Counselling Support

I offer therapy for children, young people, and adults — each with their own space to feel safe, supported, and understood.

Child Counselling

Every child deserves a space where their feelings can be safely expressed and understood.

My goal is to offer a playful and creative environment that supports children to explore, express themselves, and build resilience. This way, children will feel seen and supported while developing healthier ways of managing big feelings.

Young People Counselling

For young people, I offer a space where they can feel safe, understood, and supported.

Sessions may include talking therapy as well as creative approaches such as art or reflective activities — always led by what feels most comfortable. Together, we focus on building self-understanding, resilience, and confidence, while finding healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges and changes.

Adult Counselling (Online)

In online sessions, I offer a calm and compassionate environment where we can work together on the challenges you’re facing. I aim to create a space that feels safe and understanding, and sessions are flexible — you can join from home or wherever feels right, at times that work best for you.

Does my child need therapy?

It’s a question many parents ask themselves. Some children show their worries openly, while others keep them inside. If you’ve noticed your child struggling with big feelings, changes at home, or finding it hard to feel confident, counselling can give them a safe space to talk, play, and begin to cope in new ways.

About me

White line drawing of a slender leafy branch on a black background.

Hello! I am Ana, and through play, art, and talking, I offer children and young people a safe space to explore their feelings, manage big emotions, and find new ways to cope. Sessions are shaped around each child, moving at a pace that feels right for them.

I also work with adults, offering space to talk through challenges such as anxiety, low mood, or life changes, and to explore new ways forward.

I hold an MSc in Counselling and I’m a registered member of the BACP.

FAQs

  • Sessions are always 50 minutes. This gives us space to settle in, explore, and finish in a way that feels steady and contained.

  • The first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you (or your child) to counselling and go over a simple contract together. This will include things like safeguarding, confidentiality, and how we will work. You’ll also have space to ask questions and see if it feels like a good fit.

  • In-person sessions for children start at £65. Online sessions start at £50. I also offer concessions — please feel free to ask if this might be helpful.

  • There is no set number of sessions. I offer open-ended work, and we review progress together from time to time. This helps ensure the support continues to meet your needs, and that we can agree together when it feels right to bring counselling to a close.
